FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Vance Tours Two Cumberland County Businesses for February ShowHARRISBURG – Sen. Patricia Vance's (R-Cumberland/York) February edition of the Vance Report features a tour of S E Moulding Inc in Carlisle and The Chimneys Violin Shop in Boiling Springs. "These two businesses are examples of the power of small companies," Vance said. "Both do business with people around the world. I'm pleased to be able to make more area residents aware of these area treasures." Leading the tour of S E Moulding is Sid Ege, president. S E Moulding, located at the Murata Business Center, molds commercial and industrial resin parts including brake pedals for golf carts and spatulas. Edward C. Campbell, owner of Chimneys, leads the tour of the violin shop, which has been open since 1960. Violin and cellos are made, fixed, repaired and sold at Chimneys. People come from all over the world to train under Campbell. The show airs on Blue Ridge Communications at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays on Channel 8. Comcast Cable that serves the Shippensburg area will air the program at 4 p.m. on Thursdays on Channel 21. Comcast Cable that serves the Carlisle area will air the show at the same time but on Channel 11. York Community Access shows the program at 9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month on Channel 16. Finally, Comcast Cable in the Greater Harrisburg area will air the program on Channel 20 with no set time schedule. Vance's district includes all of Cumberland County and Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County. |
