Student Aid Applications Available, Vance Says

HARRISBURG – Copies of the 2007-08 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and FAFSA on the Web Worksheets are available in Sen. Pat Vance's offices.

"It is vital to fill out this application for student aid not only for federal assistance but also state assistance in pursing higher education," Vance said. "With this one form, students and their parents can tap into a multitude of aid opportunities."

The FAFSA determines eligibility for almost all types of federal, state and institutional student aid, including the Pennsylvania state grant. Students and parents need to complete the form and are encouraged to complete it as soon as possible to ensure that all student aid deadlines are met. Students with access to the Internet can file their FAFSA electronically at www.fafsa.ed.gov

Vance's offices are located at 3806 Market Street, Camp Hill, and 59 West Louther Street, Carlisle.

Vance's district includes all of Cumberland County and Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County.
