FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Carlisle Business Awarded Ben Franklin Investment, Vance SaysHARRISBURG – Express Dynamics LLC, now known as WorkXpress, recently received a $200,000 Ben Franklin investment from Ben Franklin Technology PArtners, said Sen. Pat Vance (R-Cumberland/York). "This loan will assist WorkXpress in growing its customized software platform," Vance said. "In these tight economic conditions, WorkXpress allows companies to create business applications at a low cost and without programming experience. This investment by Ben Franklin Technology PArtners highlights WorkXpress' potential." WorkXpress, located at the Murata Business Center in Carlisle, will use the funding to further develop its web-based product that allows clients to build, deploy and maintain their own applications. Created in 1983, Ben Franklin Technology PArtners is a state program established to help develop early-stage companies with potential for significant job growth, provide funding to established manufacturers to grow employment and promote regional infrastructure that supports high-growth companies. Vance's district includes all of Cumberland County and Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County. |
