Vance Program Spotlights Fitzgerald Pottery

HARRISBURG – The April edition of the Vance Report will focus on Fitzgerald Pottery in Franklin Township, said host Sen. Pat Vance (R-Cumberland/York).

This 30-year-old business has been growing by leaps and bounds recently and has expanded its retail area. Owners Mark and Hyunh Mai Fitzgerald create three dozen distinct pieces on a regular basis including mugs, plates, vases and lamps.

"The detail that the Fitzgeralds put into their work is exceptional," Vance said. "With their vast experience they make the process look easy, but it obviously takes a lot of time and talent to perfect ones' work."

Vance's show airs on Blue Ridge Communications at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays on Channel 8. Comcast Cable subscribers can view the program on Local Video on Demand (Get Local). Finally, York Community Access airs the program at 9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month on Channel 16.

Vance's district includes all of Cumberland County and Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County.
