Pollack Center, Sassy Gourmet Focus of Vance Program

HARRISBURG – The May edition of the Vance Report will highlight the S. Wilson Pollack Center and Sassy Gourmet in Silver Spring Township, said host Sen. Pat Vance (R-Cumberland/York).

For 30 years this vocational training school has been serving people with vocational challenges as a result of injury, illness or disability. One of the programs offered is the Sassy Gourmet, a baking and catering business that makes boxed lunches and baked goods.

"The Sassy Gourmet provides quality food at reasonable prices," Vance said. "One of its major clients is the military, to whom they provide daily boxed lunches for new recruits. I would encourage businesses to try the food service offerings."

Vance's show airs on Blue Ridge Communications at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays on Channel 8. Comcast Cable subscribers can view the program on Local Video on Demand (Get Local). Finally, York Community Access airs the program at 9 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month on Channel 16.

Vance's district includes all of Cumberland County and Carroll, Fairview, Franklin, Monaghan, Warrington and Washington townships and Dillsburg, Franklintown and Wellsville boroughs in York County.
