December 2007 -
This month Senator Vance
visits Strathmeyer Forests, Inc., in Warrington Township, York County, where
four generations have been selling Christmas trees.
November 2007 - This month Senator Vance visits Strock’s Turkey Farm and
Ascombe Farm and Greenhouse in Mechanicsburg as the two popular venues prepare
for the busy holiday season.
October 2007 - This month Senator Pat Vance takes a tour of the Toigo
Orchards in Shippensburg, a 450-acre farm that has been in continuous operation
since the 1700s.
September 2007 - This month Senator Vance visits Harrisburg Energy
Alternatives in Camp Hill and IdleAire’s Advanced Travel Center Electrification
System in Carlisle. Both businesses focus on environmentally friendly practices.
August 2007 - This month Senator Vance visits JDK Catering Camp Hill. This
$3 million business with 3,500 clients began 20 years ago as Riverside Village
Park food concessions.
June 2007 - This month Senator Vance tours the state’s rare book collection
at the state library in Harrisburg.
May 2007 - This month Senator Vance visits the Rolls-Royce Foundation’s
Research Library and Educational Museum in Mechanicsburg.

current level of debt, and the Governor's increased spending, during the
Treasury Department budget hearing.
February 28, 2007 - During budget hearings today, Senator Vance expresses concerns to Acting Insurance
Commissioner Randolph Rohrbaugh about the financial impact the Governor’s health care
proposals would have on hospitals.
