July 7, 2007 - Senator Pat Vance
(R-Cumberland) joins Republican senators from the South
Central Pennsylvania Delegation at a rally at the state
capitol to show their support for the 26,000 state workers
who are being furloughed by Governor Ed Rendell. Also

Sen. Pat Vance, standing, recently introduced Judith
Viglione, center seated, at a Senate Judiciary Committee
meeting to consider Viglione’s nomination to the
Pennsylvania Board of Probation and Parole. Viglione of New
Cumberland has worked in numerous positions in the
correction’s system. The committee reported out her
nomination unanimously.

Members of the Mechanicsburg Area High
School memory team recently visited the Capitol and met with
Sen. Pat Vance. The team for the second consecutive year won
first place in the high school division of the USA National

toured the rare books collection at the State Library. The
collection will be moved in the fall to a new
state-of-the-art vault to prevent further deterioration of
the books. Rare Books Librarian Kurt Bolding, right, makes a

look on. A tour of the collection will air on Sen. Vance’s
